Topic: Knowledge Management
Knowledge Management - The challenges of how to maintain information in your organization in a meaningful way. Social Networking has introduced many methods of sharing information, but how does it work within the corporate environment? How do you know what works for you, how to introduce it and make it worthwhile. Identifying your key knowledge resources and transferring knowledge from them to systems or other staff is needed as well. Discussion will include items out there and experiences with trying to move people to using them.
So please bring your boss, coworkers, spouse, or anyone else who you believe would be interested or could benefit from attending this great dinner meeting.
This dinner meeting presentation will be worth one (1) "category 3" PDU.
The cost for dinner is $30 for PMI Montgomery County, MD Chapter members and $40 for all others. Payment by cash or check is expected at the door of the meeting.
Reservations are required. Please RSVP no later than 5:00 PM Sunday, May 4, 2008.
Note: We will reserve two "job tables" for those people who are looking for another opportunity (new job) and for those people who have openings at their work place for project managers and are seeking to recruit. These tables will have signs labeled "Job Table". Please sit at these special tables only if you are seeking a job or seeking to hire people for a job that you have. Also, please feel free to bring copies of resumes or job postings to share with others at the Job Tables.
