Directions: Take Rt 270 to the Falls Road exit. Proceed south towards Potomac. Normandie Farm is 3 1/2 miles on the right.
Alternate directions: take the beltway, RT 495 to exit 39. Proceed west on River Road 3 1/2 miles. Turn right onto Falls Road and proceed 3/4 mile to Normandie Farm on the left.

Bio: Payam Herischi, PMP
Payam is heading Hughes Global Services department. Hughes is the market leader in the field of Satellite communication and located in Germantown, MD. He has more than 16 years experience in the Telecommunication field and has held different positions in Networking, Engineering, Product Development, Program Management , Sales &Marketing, Product Lunch and General Management. In his current Capacity , Payam is responsible for the P&L of the Hughes service business in the International market. Service contracts have their own complexities and International service contracts have the extra logistical, cultural, financial and implementation challenges. He has managed International Distance Education, e-Governance, Oil and Gas, Retail and Financial projects. As a PMP, Payam has been promoting modified project management concepts internally and externally. Payam is a proud PMP, PhD candidate in Business Administration from International School of Management in Paris , holds a BSc in Solid state Physics, MSc in Management of Technology from Carlson school of University of Minnesota, Certificate of “ International Business” from Georgetown University and Certificate of “Innovation Management “ from Smith’s School of Management of University of Maryland.

Payam will discuss challenges and lessons learned in International Market place for Program Managers. This dinner meeting presentation will be worth one (1) "category 3" PDU. The cost for dinner is $30 for PMI Montgomery County, MD Chapter members and $40 for all others. Payment by cash or check is expected at the door of the meeting (unless prepaid during registration).
Note: We will reserve two "job tables" for those people who are looking for another opportunity (new job) and for those people who have openings at their work place for project managers and are seeking to recruit. These tables will have signs labeled "Job Table". Please sit at these special tables only if you are seeking a job or seeking to hire people for a job that you have. Please feel free to bring copies of resumes or job postings to share with others at the Job Tables. We will continue to use the "two dot" system to indentify attendees who are looking for new opportunities (green dots) and those seeking to hire PMs (orange dots). We also will allow the "orange dot" attendees to briefly describe their open positions during the announcements just prior to the feature presentation.
